SING TO LIVE
The band called “Shrieking Sixties” is consisted with Kai who used to be isolating herself from society and also has development difficulty and Montero who is Filipino and was a bullied child. The band name is coming from angry marine area near the south pole. Their debut was 2014 and they travel through the island for a whole year and achieve 250 performances annually. They do not get along each other at all, talk at all and even say they hate each other. Their connection is only “to sing” on the stage. Two girls who have found their lives on the stage got a great attention from music fans and their popularity grows following years. However, in 2019, Montero became a mother and also COVID-19 gives them the challenging time since all live-houses are closed.
This documentary shows how difficult two unique but powerful girls with full of lives survive the present society and how they adjust their lives into the tough environment under COVID-19.
