Numerous subcontractors are indispensable in the manufacturing of Toyota cars. This documentary takes a close look at a small subcontractor.
Mrs. Kobayakawa is the one of those subcontractors in Nagoya. Interestingly, she does not know where the parts she and her coworkers are making are set in a car at all. They do not know how much amount of work will be tomorrow until early-evening on the day before. However, their factory is always filled with great laughter. All seemed well until the Lehman shock that brought sharp decline of car sales. The only choice for owner was to close down the factory. However, the factory is still filled with laughter. Why?
