This drama features festival "Hanamatsuri" that exists in Aichi Prefecture, and depicts people who face to the serious problem that their village is depopulated. "Hanamatsuri" continues more than 700 years since the Kamakura era. Young people in the village arise to keep up the tradition though it seems to break off the festival along with the population decline. The day of "Hanamatsuri", the demon dances throughout the night and the festival reaches the climax. What recurs in each villager's mind?
